For Our Parents and Guardians...
Without your help as parents the children would not be able to learn new skills and have fun. As a parent / guardian you are required to attend each meet with your children. The children like to see their parents participating and parents get a better appreciation of their children’s achievements by becoming involved themselves. It is only through this support and the dedication of the committee volunteers that we can provide this fun and healthy activity for the children in our community.
The aim of our club is to create a family friendly atmosphere where the whole family can join in, get involved and participate. We ask all parents to help out when ever possible. No need to wait to be asked, please offer your assistance whether it be assisting your child's age group, recording results, measuring throws and jumps, time keeping, raking the jumping pit, set up or pack up, cooking the BBQ or helping serve at the canteen - This is Your Club. New parents are encouraged to start by accompanying their children and helping with the basic tasks, learning things from more experienced parents each week, and if in doubt please ask!
For those who are keen, a range of coaching and officials courses, at all levels, are offered around the state to help advance your knowledge and skills. Whichever role you undertake, we thank you for your help, as the children would not be able learn new skills or compete weekly at Little Athletics without you.
