With an emphasis on participation, personal improvement and being the best YOU that you can be, children aged between 3 - 17 of all abilities are given the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace.
Participating in athletics helps children to not only develop their physical skills, but it also helps them to develop social skills and improves mental and emotional well being.
Today our children grow up in an increasingly challenging world. It is very important that they learn from a very early age that communication and competition can be fun. No matter at what level a child takes part in Little Athletics, the self-satisfaction is there, there is no 'win' or 'lose'. The benefits of athletics prepare the children for the long haul and will help take them to bigger and better things...

Communication is central to the success of the club, if at any time you are unsure about anything then please contact us either on our meet days or via email. The majority of our communication is done through Team App so please consider downloading and subscribing to us, it will answer many of your questions. We also update our website here frequently with other important information. Facebook is more often used for general post-event things like photos rather than official notices. You can also contact us via the 'Our Committee and Contact Details' tab located under the 'ABOUT US' tab. Our email address for general enquiries is [email protected]
Quick word on social media, please feel free to photograph/share/tag your own children with whomever you wish, just please be mindful that you must not 'tag' other children without expressed permission from the childs parent/guardian. Thankyou.
The GLAC holds its meets on Sunday mornings at Trinity College (Back Oval) off Alexander Avenue, Evanston South. The new season will commence on the 21st of October, after a free come and try day the previous week (14th).
Warm ups start 15 minutes prior to the start of the meet at a time to be advised. Any announcements or club news will be relayed to parents during warm up time so please ensure you are on time!
A word about the location: Please note we are located on school grounds, this means no dogs allowed (except for assistance dogs), and obviously no smoking/alcohol/drugs etc. All patrons must respect the grounds, facilities and others, this is a condition of membership and attendance to the club - whether you are a member of GLAC or attending from another club. The school playground is unfortunately not available for our use due to insurance reasons, so as tempting as it is please ensure your children do not play on the equipment, the school has made this quite clear to us.
Due to past unfortunate experiences anyone found to be flagrantly violating rules or throwing common decency to the winds will be asked to leave and not return. The safety and experience of our young athletes is paramount. Thank you for understanding.
